We hope to celebrate Graham’s life with you at Beulaville Free Will Baptist Church on July 16, 2022. His legacy will always be with us as a reminder of the fine man he was. We will miss his joyful love of life and his always present wit. He was a gentle compassionate man, serving his country through Civil Service, his family with encouragement and kindness, and his Lord, Jesus Christ with determination to the very end. He is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Betty Jo Frazelle as well as son Barry Frazelle and wife Anna grandchildren Hannah Black and husband Christian, Kristen Frazelle great grandchild Margo Black brother-in-law Roland Edwards as well as many nieces and nephews. Graham is preceded in death by brothers Kenneth, Byron, Jim, and sister Jane. Graham was born in Richlands, NC on February 10, 1933, to the late Roscoe and Sudie Frazelle. Graham Barry Frazelle, age 89, passed away on July 5, 2022, after an extended illness. Her beautiful smile and easy-going style served her well in this position. She worked at the NC Employment Security Commission as an employment counselor from 1992 until 2003.
She obtained her AA degree from Guildford Technical College in 1989, and a BS in Psychology and English (Double Major) from Guildford College in 1991 where she also served as Student Body Vice-President and was inducted into the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. So, once Chris started school, she decided to continue her education.Īpparently, motherhood did not dull her brain as she was able to pick up where she left off. Sherry loved being a mother, but as all mothers know, they grow up. Not long afterwards they welcomed three beautiful children – Aimee, Chris, and Laura.
In January 1975, Sherry and Eddie were married and began their life together as husband and wife. Though Sherry was set to graduate from high school in 1975, her desire to marry her high school sweetheart pushed her to complete her studies and graduate from Lejeune High School in December 1974 with a 4.0 grade average. Sherry was preceded in death by her father, Artis L. of Jacksonville daughters, Aimee Luffman and Laura Stitzer, both of Jacksonville son, Christopher Luffman of Jacksonville mother, Sonja Taylor of Carthage brother Artis L.
